This combination creates a French mission-driven group generating close to €70 million in revenue, bringing together complementary expertise in eco-friendly cosmetics and household care products, with the ambition of promoting a holistic approach to wellbeing, one that cares for both people and their living environment, in respect of the natural world.
Nueil-les-Aubiers, June 29, 2026
Laboratoire Science et Nature (LSN), founded in 1972 in Nueil-les-Aubiers (Deux-Sèvres), and Nature & Stratégie (N&S), founded in 1985 in Somloire (Maine-et-Loire), today announced the completion of their strategic combination.
These two family-owned pioneers in natural and organic personal care are uniting their expertise to form a group of more than 430 employees, with full control of the value chain, from upstream sourcing (experimental farms, certified raw material sourcing) through R&D, manufacturing and packaging, to multichannel distribution, supported by a team of 19 R&D experts launching over 300 new formulations annually.
The newly combined entity brings together a complementary brand portfolio spanning organic cosmetics (Centifolia, Coslys, Acorelle, Guérande Cosmétiques), eco-friendly household care (Étamine du Lys, Prosens) and direct selling (Body Nature, Pure), alongside a well-established CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) business serving committed third-party brands. The group positions itself as a leading player in the French natural and organic personal care market, with strong export ambitions, targeting €90 million in revenue by 2030 through brand development, growth of its CDMO activity, and targeted external growth operations.
This combination reflects a shared vision of holistic care, aimed at caring for people and their living environment, in respect of the natural world. LSN, a certified “Entreprise à Mission” (mission-driven company) since 2020, and N&S, whose CEO is a co-founder of COSMEBIO, share a common commitment to responsible innovation, traceability, eco-design and resource preservation.
The combined group now operates two complementary industrial facilities, forming an industrial platform that is rare in the sector, capable of serving both the group’s own brands and demanding CDMO clients.
Olivier Guilbaud, Chairman of Laboratoire Science et Nature, commented:
“This combination is the culmination of a deep conviction: by uniting our know-how, our industrial assets and our values, we will be able to meet the growing demand for natural products and build a sustainable model. With N&S, we share the same standards and the same vision of a comprehensive offering that respects both human health and the environment.”
Samuel Gabory, Chairman of Nature & Stratégie, added:
“We built our companies on the same foundations: natural innovation, quality and respect for the living world. This combination gives us the means to achieve our ambitions, to grow our CDMO business, accelerate R&D, strengthen our leadership in specialized organic retail networks, and scale our brands to the level they deserve, in France and internationally.”
Antoine Guilbaud, CEO of Laboratoire Science et Nature, added:
“By combining our R&D and production capabilities, we now have a benchmark industrial platform. Built around principles of eco-design and environmental efficiency, it allows us to offer our brands and our clients innovative solutions, manufactured under conditions that limit their carbon footprint and resource impact. Bringing our teams and expertise together gives us the means to accelerate innovation and build an industrial platform supporting the sustainable growth of both our own brands and those of our clients.”
The transaction brings together the founding families of Laboratoire Science et Nature and Nature & Stratégie alongside Ouest Croissance, UNEXO (a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group*), and Arkéa Capital, all of whom have chosen to fully reinvest in the newly combined group to support its next phase of growth. Their renewed commitment reflects their confidence in the industrial project, the management team, and the group’s development prospects.
The founding families remain fully committed to the project and will ensure continuity of governance for the combined group. Olivier and Antoine Guilbaud (LSN), together with Samuel Gabory (N&S), remain at the helm and will jointly lead the group’s next stages of development. Governance will be supported by a dedicated steering committee overseeing integration and sustainable value creation.
